Which qualities separate one city from another, and where are these qualities supposed to be found? Does one area represent the whole city or is Oslo big enough for each part to represent itself?

CCTV life

The olympica are not far away, the monumental buildings arise, but the everyday life continues as usual in the streets of Beijing. And even if more and more of its inhabitants can afford a car, some still choose the bike to travel, breating the heavily polluted air.

Another funny observation when in Beijing is that those who finally can afford the luxury of a car still drive like they bike. Its back and forth, left, right, brake, accelerate and sneak in the lines of the highways. But we didn't see much accidents, they never drove fast, they just mingled, just like on the sidewalks.

The last snow 1

The last snow series was shot in easter 2008 at Kongsberg Gravlund just after it had fallen over 40cm of snow in just a few hours. The series (which has some more pictures than shown) symbolizes the final resting place, a quiet place. Perfect and untouched.
